CURTIS R. JOSEPH, JR.
CURTIS R. JOSEPH, JR. is a Partner in the Shreveport law firm, Winchell & Joseph, L.L.C. Mr. Joseph handles defense as well as plaintiff-oriented litigation. He attended Washington & Lee University in Lexington, Virginia, where he obtained his Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communications in 1993, and his Juris Doctorate in 1996. While at W&L, he performed clinical work, focusing on post-conviction relief, with the inmates of the Federal Women¹s Prison Camp in Alderson, West Virginia.
He taught Language Arts, Social Studies and Religion at Bishop Perry Middle School in New Orleans. Mr. Joseph is a founding member of Washington & Lee's chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc.; Louisiana Bar Association member; Shreveport Bar Association President; Biomedical Research Foundation Board of Directors; Strategic Action Council member; Metropolitan Planning Commission member; Committee of One Hundred member; Rotary Club of Shreveport Foundation Chair; and Immediate Past President of the North Louisiana Jewish Federation. Mr. Joseph is also a devoted husband and father as well as a local jazz/blues drummer.
